Hana Financial Group announced that it will launch the Step-Matching Donation Campaign to protect the environment through everyday walking and spread the spirit of sharing through walking-based donations until June 30.
This campaign aims to save energy and slash greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging walking in daily life and the use of mass transit systems.
It is Hana Financial Group¡¯s representative eco-friendly ESG activity, where customers and Hana Financial Group employees achieve a number of steps to donate trees.
To participate in the campaign, anyone can visit the Walking Donation Campaign section on the Hana OneQ event page, install the Big Walk App and join the campaign.
Step counts are automatically measured from the moment of participation. Up to 30,000 steps per day can be donated through the app.
Hana Financial Group announces on June 30 that it will conduct Step-Matching Donation Campaign to protect the environment through everyday walking and spread the spirit of sharing through the campaign.
Additionally, once the cumulative step count of all participants reaches the goal of 500 million steps, trees will be donated to communities affected by recent wildfires for forest restoration.
Various events have been prepared for participants in the step-matching donation campaign.
During the campaign period, 11 participants who donate 110,000 steps will be selected by lottery to receive an eco-friendly gift box, and the top 50 participants in terms of final donated steps will receive an eco-friendly gift box and coffee coupons.

Parent-Accompanied Internship Program for Young People with Disabilities
Hana Financial Group announced on June 9 that it will run the Parent-Accompanied Internship Program, in which parents participate alongside their children with developmental disabilities, to help them settle into society and lay a foundation for their independence.
¡°We hope that through this internship, young people with developmental disabilities and borderline intelligence will be able to demonstrate their capabilities as healthy members of society and take charge of their own lives,¡± a Hana Financial Group official said.
The Parent-Accompanied Internship Program targets individuals with developmental disabilities and borderline intelligence who are preparing to enter society but still need care.
Participants are paired with their parents and placed in the field for six months, receiving systematic training including job education, social skills improvement programs and cultural experiences.
Upon the completion of the internship program, participants will also receive cash prizes.

Pre-program education and regular meetings will be conducted for participating workplaces.
