Gyeongbuk Traffic Culture Training Institute (GTCTI) is a specialized educational organization, established to prevent traffic accidents and spread a safe traffic culture. 

GTCTI President Park Soo-hyung said, ¡°Unfortunately, Korea ranks higher among OECD member countries in terms of the traffic death rate,¡± he said in a statement.

¡°The world is changing each day in the wake of the 4th Industrial Revolution and metaverse, the reality is that our people¡¯s traffic safety index does not catch up it, and we will devote ourself to establishing an advanced traffic environment by protecting provincial residents¡¯ life and property and instilling human-oriented traffic awareness,¡± Park said.

GTCGI Carries Out Traffic Drive 

GTCTI conducted a joint campaign calling for drivers to abide by traffic regulations and reduce traffic accidents at the Chilgok rest area on May 22. 

GTCTI officials joined traffic-related organizations, including KPTA and TS Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters, in guiding drivers about preventing dozing off at the wheel and following traffic safety regulations, such as fastening safety belts and prevention of overload and distributing traffic safety devices.

In the public limelight are simulation education programs using VR and AR technologies, which offer opportunities for students to learn while experiencing real traffic situations.
