Shinhan Bank is holding a customer appreciation promotion to commemorate its 43rd anniversary.
First, the new product ¡°1982 Legendary Savings Account,¡± which was launched on July 1 with a limit of 100,000 accounts, sold out in four days and the bank began the sale of an additional 100,000 accounts as a token of gratitude to its customers on July 7.
In addition, Shinhan Bank employees carried out a plogging activity with employees to promote mutual growth with local communities.
Until July 12, the bank will raise a total of 100 million won through the Shinhan Donghaeng Run Event with customers and donate proceeds for the medical expenses of descendants of independence movement activists against Japanese colonial rule of Korea.
Some money will also cover the cost of music therapy for children with disabilities, in the names of the participants.
Moreover, Shinhan Bank is holding various events for all generations including the Walk and Remember Event, providing opportunities to participate in the ¡°Memory Check¡± Cognitive Function Test for senior customers and money coupons to the 2030 generation.
Furthermore, the bank is running a promotion on the delivery app ¡°Ddangyo¡± to help customers beat the heat with refreshing ice cream and celebrate Shinhan¡¯s 43rd anniversary with 6,000 won discount coupons for Baskin Robbins.

Execution of Financial Support for People in Need
Shinhan Bank announced on July 31 that it has executed 302.9 billion won of the 306.7 billion won in livelihood finance support, or 98.7%, it has implemented since 2024 through the first half of this year.
Through the Common Program, Shinhan Bank provided 195.3 billion won in interest cashbacks to approximately 280,000 small business owners and 107.6 billion won to approximately 277,000 vulnerable individuals through the Voluntary Program.
In particular, this year Shinhan Bank further expanded its support by establishing new programs worth a total of 3.6 billion won to support small and medium-sized businesses and small business owners struggling due to the ongoing economic downturn.
These programs include childbirth subsidies for female small business owners, labor cost subsidies for joint safety managers of small and medium-sized vulnerable businesses, and mutual support funds for Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid subscribers.
Shinhan Bank is also implementing a joint customized small business financial support plan for the banking industry, including the Small Business 119 Plus program, the Business Closure Support Refinancing Loan, the Sunshine Loan 119 program, and banking consulting.
The bank also plans to actively participate in the Korean government and financial authorities¡¯ ongoing livelihood stabilization policies, such as the purchase and cancellation of long-term overdue debt and debt reduction.
