NongHyup Bank began operating a generative AI platform on July 4, which will be applied across its entire business process, the bank announced on July 7.
The platform is NongHyup Bank’s unique AI system developed with LG CNS. It is based on NongHyup Bank’s decades of accumulated financial data and business experience.
Unlike general-purpose AI, NongHyup Bank’s new service is specialized for financial tasks and designed to be immediately applicable in real-world settings, reflecting customer needs.
Its key features include a “Knowledge Information Search Agent” for real-time searches of internal regulations and product information; a “Retail Sales Support Function” to suggest consultation techniques tailored to individual customers’ characteristics; a “Corporate Finance Customized Recommendation Function” to recommend suitable policy funds for corporate clients; and a “Digital Assistant Function” to support UX writing, document summarization and email dispatch.
NongHyup Bank will enhance the level of its work automation by introducing agent technology, which allows AI to autonomously plan and perform tasks, and to expand the platform’s utilization across entire NongHyup Financial Group by upgrading AI data and experience accumulated in the field.

Hosting WM Learning Crew Coaching Session
NongHyup Bank held the WM Learning Crew Coaching Session at the Seoul International Finance Office in Yeouido on July 3 by inviting Kim Dong-hwan, director of the Alternative Finance and Economy Research Institute, who regularly appears at Sampro TV.
The WM Learning Crew is a training program that provides education and expert coaching to people to help them strengthen the investment and asset management capabilities of Wealth Management (WM) staff members in a rapidly changing financial environment.
Director Kim shared his expert insights on macroeconomics and investment strategies under the theme of “Dignified Asset Management Strategies.”
Moreover, Kim Dong-min, head of the NH All100 Advisory Center, conducted practical marketing coaching on finding excellent customers.
A discussion on future investment directions was also held among employees.

Retirement Pension Seminar
NongHyup Bank held the Retirement Pension Seminar for retirement pension officials from local education offices across the country in Daejeon on July 23.
The seminar covered the following topics - understanding changes in the retirement pension system, preparing contribution fund management plans and reviewing best practices from other institutions, key contents of the new government’s labor policies and responses, and financial market trends in the second half of 2025.
Participants enhanced their understanding of the retirement pension system for education offices and shared various practical cases in their work.
Additionally, they had a meaningful time, asking questions arising from their work and sharing expertise through information necessary for system operation.
