Chmn. Koo demanded stabilizing new businesses, such as battery materials and EV parts, as soon as possible and for leaders to spearhead AI-based work innovation.

Unlike previous years, the latest New Year event took a format in which AI wrote Chmn. Koo¡¯s New Year message, with his ideas being shown to executives and staff members.

Chmn. Koo shared with his executives and staff a process in which he entered management keywords he had previously pondered into AI.

He called for handling jobs with lower added value by using AI and concentrating core capabilities on jobs with higher added value.

The event coincided with the ¡°LS Futurist Award¡± award ceremony, which made its debut this year.

The grand prize went each to LS Cable & System team of leading the global undersea energy business and LS ELECTRIC¡¯s expanding the North American electric system market and improving of business fundamentals.
