Youngone Group announced on April 3 that Chairman Sung Ki-hak received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Global Textile Leadership at the Telangana Textile Dialogue in Hyderabad, Telangana of India.
This award is conferred on entrepreneurs and leaders who have contributed to the development of the global textile and fashion industry by the Telangana Textile Dialogue, a subsidiary of ATEXCON 2026 hosted by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industries (CITI).
Judges select prize winners based on a comprehensive evaluation of long-term industrial contributions, including production innovation, the establishment of global supply chains, and the creation of a sustainable industrial ecosystem.
Chairman Sung was recognized for his contributions in enhancing competitiveness in the functional apparel and sportswear sectors over the past few decades by building a global manufacturing network centered on major production hubs in Bangladesh, Vietnam, and India.
¡°This award is not merely an individual achievement, but the results of efforts made by Youngone¡¯s employees and partners who have been with us for a long time,¡± Chairman Sung said.
¡°I will continue to sincerely play my roles in the sustainable development of the global textile industry and the strengthening of its manufacturing competitiveness.¡±
Meanwhile, Youngone Corp. completed the construction of a factory in Barakill, Telangana, in southern India in 2023 and has been rolling out products since 2025.
Co-Hosting International FABI Invitational Fashion Show
Youngone Holdings announced on April 22 that it will host the 26th International FABI Invitational Fashion Show with the Korean Federation of Fashion Business (FABI).
This exhibition to be held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza Design Lab on June 20 re-examines the social and environmental responsibilities and future industrial potential inherent in fashion.
The show will go beyond a simple exhibition and serve as a sustainable fashion platform based on ESG through industry-academia collaboration.
In particular, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the FABI, the exhibition is organized into three sections — ¡°RE:ARCHIVE,¡± ¡°RE:DESIGN¡± and ¡°RE:FUTURE¡± — under the main theme of RE:VALUE 30 (The Rediscovery of Value), organically connecting the past, present and future.
In particular, upcycling works intuitively demonstrate the value of sustainable fashion through the process where used clothing gains new life.
¡°This exhibition is a meaningful occasion to shed new light on the intrinsic value and sustainability of the fashion industry,¡± said Sung Rae-eun, vice chairwoman of Youngone Holdings.

Meanwhile, the exhibition will be presented online via the FABI¡¯s official YouTube channel for one month starting June 20.
Sponsoring National Sport Climbing Team Member
The North Face, a brand of Youngone Outdoor, announced on April 2 that it has signed an official sponsorship contract with the Korean Sport Climbing Team member Lee Do-hyun who is also a member of the North Face Athlete Team.
Lee Do-hyun ranked third in the world for bouldering and lead won a silver medal in bouldering at the 2022 Innsbruck World Cup and a gold medal in bouldering at the 2023 Prague World Cup.
Following a silver medal in combined at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, he became the first Korean male athlete to win a gold medal in lead at last year's World Championships.
With the addition of Lee Do-hyun, the North Face Athlete Team, founded in 2005, has established its strongest lineup ever alongside Seo Chae-hyun, Jung Ji-min, Sa Sol, Chun Jong-won, and Shin Eun-chul.
