Hana Financial Group announced that it launched its inclusive finance roadmap, which includes the early execution of 3 trillion won worth of inclusive finance this year.
The financial group plans to concentrate all of its capabilities on resolving blind spots in financial supply and building a tangible, practical inclusive finance model by setting three field-tailored implementation measures for 2026.
The three are resolving financial polarization, supporting financial self-reliance, and expanding inclusive infrastructure.
¡°Inclusive finance is not merely a donation or temporary support, but a sincere calling inherent to finance that can improve the lives of ordinary people,¡± Hana Chairman Ham Young-joo emphasized.
¡°We will continue our efforts to ensure that Hana Financial Group becomes a market facilitator in resolving financial blind spots through a major transformation of inclusive finance that changes the game rather than a stopgap measure.¡±
Hana Financial Group is fulfilling its role as a reliable pillar of people¡¯s lives, having already achieved a cumulative execution of 1.3 trillion won as of April, exceeding 40% of the 3.1 trillion won annual inclusive finance target set for 2026.
This achievement is the result of all Hana affiliates¡¯ collective efforts to proactively and swiftly supply inclusive funds to people in need of the most immediate help.
They include small business owners, low-credit individuals, and young people in difficult domestic and international economic environments characterized by prolonged high interest rates and inflation and a delayed recovery of domestic demand.
With the announcement of this inclusive finance roadmap, the financial group is expected to steadily expand various inclusive finance policies aimed at helping vulnerable groups and small business owners recover.
To safeguard the housing rights of homeless young adults facing housing insecurity, Hana Financial Group has launched the Youth Guardian Jeonse Fraud Guarantee Insurance as a joint product with Hana Bank and Hana Insurance, providing free insurance to a total of 30,000 young adults applying for Jeonse loans.
Through this initiative, Hana Financial Group will act as a safety net to protect the precious lives of young people by preventing the loss of security deposits caused by illegal acts by landlords or real estate brokers, document forgery, or illegal infringement of rights occurring after moving in and by providing substantial financial compensation afterward.
Hana Financial Group is also making a special additional contribution of 100 billion won to the ¡°Hana Miso Finance Foundation,¡± a representative public interest fund that drives timely financial support for the working class and relief for the financially marginalized.

Cultural Experience Program for Marginalized Children in Incheon
Hana Financial Group announced that it invited approximately 40 children from local children¡¯s welfare centers in Incheon to participate in a cultural experience volunteer activity with its employees in honor of Family Month in May.
This volunteer activity was organized to present special experiences to vulnerable children who usually lack opportunities for cultural experiences including history education tailored to their level and watching an economic musical to help them have sound economic habits.
In particular, about 40 Hana Financial Group employees voluntarily participated in the activity, serving as dedicated one-on-one mentors for the children and sharing time of connection.
First, the children visited Deoksugung Palace in Seoul and spent time touring the site while listening to interesting historical stories explained by a professional history commentator.
With an easy and fun presentation tailored to children¡¯s level, the program provided a valuable experience where children could explore cultural heritages and learn some hidden stories of Korean history.
Next, they moved to the main auditorium of the Hana Financial Group Myeongdong building to watch the children¡¯s economic musical ¡°Jack¡¯s Magic Wallet.¡±
¡°Jack¡¯s Magic Wallet¡± is a musical-style financial education program that Hana Bank has been running for 19 years since 2007.
