Its brokerage commission revenue in the second quarter sat at 625.6 billion won, a 36% increase from the previous quarter.

Retirement Pension Reserves Grow by Approx. 10 Trillion Won in Q2
Mirae Asset Securities announced on July 27 that its retirement pension reserves increased by approximately 10 trillion won in the second quarter of this year, making it the only company in the Korean financial industry to do so.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service¡¯s disclosure of retirement pension reserves, the total reserves in the Korean retirement pension market ascended by 45.1438 trillion won in the second quarter of 2026.
Of this, approximately 9.5799 trillion won, or 21.2%, was added at Mirae Asset Securities, accounting for the lion¡¯s share among 42 providers.
The cumulative increase in Mirae Asset Securities¡¯ retirement pension reserves for the first half of the year was approximately 14 trillion won, a 36.5% increase compared to the reserves at the beginning of this year.
In particular, the company was the only one among all financial institutions to record an increase in reserves of approximately 4 trillion won and 10 trillion won in both the first and second quarters, respectively, confirming strong customer trust through these figures.
At the heart of this performance lies an asset allocation strategy that Mirae Asset Securities has consistently maintained since the beginning of its business.
Unlike the Korean general retirement pension market, where principal-guaranteed products account for a large proportion, Mirae Asset Securities has steadily increased the proportion of performance-based products to prevent assets from being skewed toward principal-guaranteed products.
