Korea House & Land Corp. (LH) held a ceremony to declare a new vision in celebration of the 9th anniversary at LH headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, on Nov. 4 and plans to create 2.31 million jobs by 2027.

The event was designed to not only mark the 9th anniversary, but also to declare a new vision for the next 100 years.

In a speech, LH President Park Sang-woo said, “Executives and staff members will take the initiative in implementing innovative growth and social responsibilities.”

LH adopted the new vision slogan “Reliable People’s Life Partner, LH” reflecting changes of the times from the previous vision “Land for Better Life and Happy House From LH” which focused on land development and the housing industry.

Approximately 8,000 LH executives and staff members demonstrated their determination to raise the standing of LH as one of the nation’s representative public entities by realizing people’s better life.

They pledged to realize four core values - “Win-Win”, “Innovation”, “Tomorrow” and “Human-Oriented”

The new vision was established by views of experts, civic organizations and LH executives and staff members.

The new vision is designed to reflect policy changes focusing on public interests such as balanced land development and realization of social values and prepare strategies tailored to meet environment changes such as the 4th Industrial Revolution and the improving of inter-Korean relationships.

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mi, Chairman Park Soon-ja of the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, Gyeongsangnam-do Gov. Kim Kyung-soo and Senior Presidential Chief Secretary for Social Policies Kim Soo-hyun delivered video speeches during the event.

LH also adopted mid- and long-term management goals to realize the new vision by 2027 - creating 2.31 million jobs, becoming an excellent entity of shared growth, winning top rating of customer satisfaction and integrity, and achieving a goal of lowering the rate of interest burden out of debts to 110 percent.

LH set four basic management guidelines to realize management goals – housing and welfare services people want, even development of cities and regions, innovative growth to lead the future, and realization of social values that make all happy. The corporation also enumerated 42 action tasks and 123 detailed action tasks.

The new vision focuses on coping with the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution by aggressively exploring new growth engines such as smart city and innovative industrial complex, an LH official said.

LH는 10월 4일 경남혁신도시 소재 LH 본사 대강당에서 ‘LH 창립 9주년 New VISION 선포식’을 개최했다. 이번 행사는 LH 창립 9주년을 기념하는 동시에 국민과 함께 미래로 도약하는 앞으로의 100년을 향한 새로운 비전을 선포하고, 이에 대한 임직원 8천여 명의 실현 의지를 다지기 위해 마련되었다.

축사로는 김현미 국토교통부 장관과 박순자 국회 국토교통위원장, 김경수 경남도지사, 김수현 청와대 사회수석이 영상을 통해 국민을 위한 LH의 더 큰 역할과 노력을 당부했다.

새로운 비전과 전략은 국가균형 발전, 사회적 가치 실현 등 공공성을 강조하는 정책 변화와 4차 산업혁명, 남북관계 개선 등 미래환경 변화에 대응하기 위해 전문가, 시민단체, 임직원을 포함한 각계의 의견을 수렴해 수립되었다.

LH의 새로운 비전 ‘든든한 국민생활 파트너, LH'는 국토발전 및 주거사업에 중점을 둔 기존 비전 ’살기 좋은 국토, 행복한 주거 From LH'에서 국민을 중심으로 재편한 미래 청사진으로, 국민의 더 나은 삶을 앞장서 실현하겠다는 LH의 굳은 결의를 나타낸다.

또한, LH 임직원들은 4대 핵심가치인 ‘상생협력(Win-Win)', ’창의혁신(Innovation)‘, ‘미래도약(Tomorrow)’, ‘사람중심(Human-Oriented)’을 함께 실현해 나갈 것을 다짐했다.

슬로건으로는 각 핵심가치의 영문 첫 글자를 조합한 영단어 ‘WITH’와 비전을 결합해 만든 ‘든든한 국민생활 파트너 with LH’를 선정해 국민과 함께 한다는 의미를 다시 한 번 강조했다.

아울러 LH는 새로운 비전을 실현하기 위한 중장기 경영목표로 2027년까지 ‘일자리 231만개 창출’, ‘동반성장 우수기관 달성’, ‘고객만족도·청렴도 최고 등급 획득’, ‘이자부담부채 비율 110% 달성’ 등을 설정했다.

경영 목표 달성을 위한 4대 기본 경영방향에는 ‘국민이 바라는 주거복지 서비스’, ‘고르게 발전하는 도시와 지역’, ‘미래를 선도하는 혁신성장’, ‘모두가 행복한 사회적 가치 실현’을 설정했으며, 총 42개 실행과제와 123개의 세부 실천과제도 제시되었다.

주요 내용으로는 스마트시티, 혁신형 산업단지와 같은 신성장 동력을 적극 발굴해 4차 산업혁명에 대응하고, 공공투자 확대 및 주거복지 서비스 연계를 통해 좋은 일자리를 창출하는 등 혁신성장과 사회적 가치 실현에 중점을 뒀다.

박상우 LH 사장은 “국민의 신뢰와 사랑을 받는 LH가 될 수 있도록 전 임직원이 한 마음으로 혁신성장과 사회적 책임 이행에 앞장서고, 국민과 소통하며 함께 성장하겠다”라고 말했다.
