The KOREA MICE EXPO 2019 Secretariat has informed the public that KME 2019 (Korea MICE Expo 2019), Asia`s leading MICE events, will be held at Songdo ConvensiA, Incheon, Republic of Korea, from June 12-14, 2019.

Korea Mice Expo, which is the largest MICE Expo in Korea, represents MICE Global Platform in Asia. At the last Expo, 266 exhibitors and 245 buyers from 32 countries made more than 4,000 business meetings for their next projects.

Marking its 20th anniversary, KME 2019 has created the “Global zone” for MICE related overseas companies.

If you are looking for the Asian or Korean MICE market, KME 2019 will be the perfect opportunity to begin.

The first MICE event took place in 2016 hosted by Korea Tourism Organization and Incheon Metropolitan City with many exhibitions and business consultations along with many side-events. In 2018, the event attracted around 2,500 buyers and visitors from around the world.

Marriot International is scheduled to introduce the MICE facilities at the hotel and special promotional events to buyers and visitors. The Songdo Convensia Convention Center is the first project completed in Songdo IBD and opened for business on October 7, 2008. Its innovative design by KPF and Baum elicits thoughts of the Sydney Opera House and is already a landmark structure in Korea.

The main exhibition hall has one of the largest column-free spans (472.4 ft) in Asia. Donated to the City of Incheon by Gale International and POSCO E&C and managed by Incheon Tourism Organization, Songdo Convensia now hosts international conferences, trade shows and meetings, and has even become a popular filming location for commercials and music videos.

Facilities available at Songdo Convensia include two main exhibition halls, 23 conference rooms and 3 ballrooms. Some of the support facilities at Songdo Convensia include wireless internet capabilities throughout the entire convention center, RFID card systems, voice recognition cameras, and interpretation in 8 languages.

Recently, Songdo Convensia received LEED New Construction 2.2 Certified rating, and become the first convention facility to be LEED certified in Asia.
