Signiel Busan, Lotte Hotel’s premium landmark hotel brand, was opened in Busan on June 17. It is the second hotel from the brand Signiel following Signial Seoul. Singniel Busan is a 260-room luxury hotel located in the LCT Tower, a landmark in Haeundae.

Signiel Busan provides the perfect journey to enjoy true relaxation with fantastic ocean views of Haeundae.

Signiel Busan is easily accessible from Jung-dong and Haeundae subway stations and close to Haeundae Rodeo Street.

The hotel is fitted with a variety of new facilities, including an Infinity Pool with dynamic views, a Spa presented by the luxury cosmetics brand “Chantecaille,” and the guests-only Activity Garden, all combined with Signiel's signature elegance and delivered at a new level of value never seen before in Busan.

Signiel Busan provides the world's finest hotel dining experience. At Signiel Busan, you can experience a menu created in collaboration with Michelin 3-star chef Bruno Menard in the lounge, at banquets and weddings, or as part of in-room service.

Chao Lan is a Chinese restaurant that reflects the heritage of Hong Kong and its flourishing era of the 1920s. The Modern Chinese Tapas & Bar Chao Lan offers dim sum and tea during the day and cocktails in the evening, as well as a variety of dishes by a Michelin-star restaurant chef.

Dignitaries, including Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin, Minister Park Yang-woo of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), Busan Vice Mayor Park Sung-hoon, and Chairman Park In-young of Busan City Council, attend a ceremony to open Signiel Busan in Busan on June 17.

Executives of Lotte Group assembled in Busan to attend a ceremony to open Signiel Busan. Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin, accompanied by Lotte Group Vice Chairman Song Yong-duk and Vice Chairman Hwang Gak-kyu, participated in the event.

Among about 100 people on hand at the event were Minister Park Yang-woo of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), Busan Vice Mayor Park Sung-hoon, and Chairman Park In-young of Busan City Council.

Lotte Group executives’ participation in the opening ceremony may be construed as the group giving more weight to the hotel business, grappling with hardships caused by the spread of COVID-19.

Earlier, Lotte Chairman Shin promised to reduce Japan Lotte Holdings’ control over subsidiaries in Korea by listing Lotte Hotel. The opening of Signiel Busan is expected to have a favorable impact on the listing of Lotte Hotel.

The opening of Signiel Busan comes seven years after Park Hyatt Busan made its debut. Shinsaegae Chosun Hotel will open the new luxury hotel “Grand Chosun Busan” in August.

Grand Chosun Busan, 500 meters away from Signiel Busan, will be opened by remodeling the existing Novotel Ambassador Busan. The opening of Signiel Busan is expected to firm up competition among luxury hotels in Busan.
