NongHyup Bank will promote the final phase of its digital financial platform transformation, converting its digital financial system to a cloud infrastructure system by 2025.
NongHyup Bank’s IT Division announced on August 22 that it began a digital financial platform conversion project.
NongHyup Bank has been promoting the project since 2020, and plans to switch to a new technology-based cloud infrastructure system by February 2025 to implement a customer-centered super innovative digital bank and completely upgrade customer services.
The purpose of this project is to set up an easy and convenient life finance platform through customer-centered UI/UX reorganization.
NongHyup Bank plans to provide timely services that fit customer journey maps through personalized product search and intuitive product purchases.
In addition, the bank plans to rebuild All One Bank into a super application that can provide comprehensive financial services such as credit cards, insurance, and securities.
“This is an important project to lead the future of NongHyup Bank,” a NongHyup Bank official said.
“Through this project, we will build a digital financial platform that is easier, more convenient, and friendlier. NongHyup Bank will become a customer-centered, innovation-powered digital bank through the construction of a successful digital platform."
Green Ladder Summer Camp
NongHyup Bank announced on Aug. 10 that it held the Green Ladder Summer Camp at Sonobel Cheonan in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province in August.
The Green Ladder Camp in its fourth year is a social contribution program run in collaboration with the Korea Scholarship Foundation.
The camping program provided college students with opportunities to spread agricultural and rural values and enhance leadership, and motivates rural elementary school students in learning through various experiential activities.
The three-day summer camp opened for 129 mentees from rural elementary schools and 80 mentors from colleges and universities from Aug. 9 to 11.
It offered various programs such as career experiences, financial classes for the participants and musical performances.
“This camp program gave rural students an opportunity to take a step toward their dreams,” the NH Bank official said.
“We will continue to strive to narrow the gap between rural and urban education.”
NH Members Pot Service
NH Members Pot was launched to provide various benefits to customers of not only NongHyup Bank, but of all NongHyup Financial Group affiliates, meaning that various services such as products, events, and coupons of affiliated companies are all contained in the NH Members' Pot.
Members can easily check events, coupons, and benefits for each distribution and financial affiliate, and use NH points to sign up for financial products of pan-NongHyup affiliates.
NH Members Pot services involve NongHyup Online Shopping Mall, NongHyup Bank, NH NongHyup Card, NH Investment & Securities, NH NongHyup Life Insurance, NH Capital, and NH Savings Bank.
Customers can connect to the services through dedicated icons or banners in the Point Inquiry Menu of the affiliates’ applications.
NH All One Bank Smart Phone Plan
NongHyup Bank launched an exclusive plan on its mobile platform with mobile virtual network operator Free Telecom.
NongHyup Bank announced on Aug. 21 that it launched the NH All One on its mobile platform, “NH All One Bank” in partnership with Free Telecom.
Customers can sign up for the plans in the Life+ Section at the bottom of the NH All in One Bank main screen.
The plans consist of the lifetime discount plan (4900 won to 12,100 won) for customers who are looking for low service fees, the unlimited plan (12,100 won to 3,900 won) for customers with much data usage and the senior and junior plan (3,600 won to 6,600 won) with enhanced safety features such as blocking spam messages, and data use limits.
In line with the launch of the plan, NongHyup Bank will provide preferential interest rate coupons and mobile coffee coupons to customers who subscribe to the NH All in One Plan and pay their bills through NongHyup Bank accounts.
Moreover, senior and junior plan users can enjoy the services free of charge for their first one-month period.
An official from NongHyup Bank said, “We will strengthen the competitiveness of NH All One Bank as a comprehensive financial platform by providing a reasonable mobile phone plan.”
